Kites and Poles

Today I went with my friend Shannon to a kite festival in Cazenovia, NY. It was a beautiful day with the perfect winds for kites. After we finished there we went to the annual Polish festival to listen to polka and eat pirogies and homemade sauerkraut. Mmmmm. Good stuff!!!

The last day of road tripping.

Today we went down to Ithaca before Jenny had to leave. Now I'm home and it's nappy nap time. Here's the last few pix.

Day 4

Today was Yale, Hartford, and Albany.

Ceri, you really should go to Boston someday. There's a lot of interesting things there and the public transportation was pretty cool!

Day 3

We are SO tired. We walked the Freedom Trail through Boston and saw lots of historical things...at the Bunker Hill Monument we climbed all 294 stairs to the top. So tired. So tired.

New England, Part Dos

Here's the next part. We crossed New Hampshire, stopping for the capitol, went up along the coast of Maine, then back down to Fort Constitution, Walden Pond and Minuteman Park. Ironically the memorial of war was peaceful and the memorial of conservation was loud and noisy...I also stalked a wild turkey hen and her chicks. Well, actually we sort of stalked each other. It was amusing really.

3 Hour Tour

Actually it's more like a 3 day tour. Jen and I started out for New England this morning. We drove through the Adirondacks, crossed Lake Champlain by ferry, stopped at Ben & Jerry's factory, visited the Trapp Family Lodge and the Montpelier capital building. Now we're getting ready to sleep in White River Junction, VT. Here are today's pix.

Undies for Peace

This article confused me at first. As my cousin pointed out, they should have mentioned the superstition part first because without it, it just sounds a little pervy!
